“For the past two years, I have been tutored by Adam Reiner in Math 20-2 and 30-2. I chose to employ a tutor for assistance in improving my overall grade point average. I can honestly say that with his help, I felt more confident and prepared for class. He was especially helpful when I had missed material or when I had a difficult time following what my teacher was doing. Adam would go further into the subject matter than my teacher did; he would explain the “why” side of math which really helped me to gain a deeper understanding. “Adam is incredibly devoted, he refers to many resources that I found useful to helping me personally understand the material. These include the Alberta Curriculum and various apps that explain solving as well as graphing. He greatly aided in my personal process of understanding material on a deeper level than originally taught in class. He helps his students to not only learn the material presented but understand and retain the information, which is the most important tool for succeeding in any course. He even put together an exam prep course for me and fellow students which was an amazing cram session where he walked us through challenging questions, preparing us for our Diploma exam. Adam has the wonderful ability of connecting with his students and helping his students to succeed. Tutoring sessions with Adam were not simply normal they were fun and helped me to grasp concepts that I was not able to on my own.”
